Neo, if I wanted to read what JLA posted, I would turn off the "ignore" feature. And if you continue to repost what he posted, I am going to ask SI Administration if that's a violation of the Terms of Use.

But, as you brought it up, what I told JLA was that he had convinced me that he was ignorant rather than a liar, with respect to a particular argument on another thread. As you are well aware, JLA was insisting that the plaintiff in Roe v. Wade lied to the court at the time the suit was filed, with respect to whether or not she was raped. And even though I pointed out to him that rape wasn't an issue in the suit, he insisted on trying to convince the others on the thread that rape was an issue in the case, even though, as a lawyer, he ought to have known better. At the time, I thought he must have been deliberately trying to distort the facts of the case, that is, lying, but he convinced me that he was ignorant of the law of the case.

I don't think calling someone a liar is wrong, if it's accurate, and I don't think calling someone ignorant is wrong, if it's accurate. I can understand how JLA might not like to be called a liar, nor ignorant, but facts are facts.
