Lee, thanks very much for the link to Helene's explanation of her charts. I would have never found that. I've been to the Decision Point site a few times. Some nice charts and info there. I think I've gotten QCharts to duplicate Helene's 10-dma Advancing - Declining. For example, for the Nasdaq the Advancing - Declining is QC:ADVDEC.NQ. I just slapped a 10-dma onto a daily graph. The numbers look about right (in the 200 range today, -800 range in Aug).

I'm not a huge fan of TA, but like the VIX and this oscillator looks like it tracks the market highs and lows pretty well.
