**WHAT THIS RECENT ANNOUNCEMENT MEANS TO ME**

a consortium of Latin American investors and service providers"
A CONSORTIUM OF INVESTORS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS MEANS DEEP POCKETS. I HEAR A MAJOR INTERNATIONAL TELEPHONE COMPANY WRITTEN BETWEEN THE LINES

"the consortium's exclusive deployment throughout Latin America"
THEY WILL ROLL OUT MEXICO, CENTRAL, AND SOUTH AMERICA--THIS WILL BE HUGE

"firm commitment to the purchase of 100 CTI diagnostic systems valued at approximately US$50,000,000 over a two-year period"
CTI EASILY QUALIFIES FOR NASDAQ. YOU CAN BE SURE THE DOWN PAYMENT WILL COVER NASDAQ REQUIREMENTS AND MORE--UNLESS THEY ALREADY GOT THE MONEY FROM SOME OTHER SOURCE ALREADY!

"It is expected that about 40 of these units can be deployed in Mexico beginning in the second quarter of 2000"
MEXICO IS JUST THE START, ADD CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICA AND YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT HUNDREDS OF SYSTEMS IN THE FIRST COUPLE YEARS

"I estimate that the first 40 systems will be deployed to Mexico by the time of our anticipated FDA PMA approval"
CIT EXPECTS TO APPLY BY THE END OF THE YEAR TO EARLY Q1 AND HAVE APPROVAL BY EARLY SPRING

the rally has just started.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know the details of Computerized Thermal Imaging International - is it a subsidiary of CTI or what? What kind of stake did CTI have to chip in for this $50,000 deal? Did CTI make money off of the units or was it a give away in order to drum up more business? Will the units be sold to the individual doctors/offices?
Thanks!
