By avoiding these plays Cisco avoids putting artificial road blocks in the way of its stock price.

Sooner or later, the business of making money will take precedent over the business of keeping your stock price up. Call me a heretic, but I believe that day is soon upon us. It is then that a merger between these two companies will make the most sense. I vote yes with my shares.
