"Jesus shed His blood for every human being there is." Well, I know this. :) What I was trying to point out was that the Jewish community as a whole was being told that "rending garments and weeping" was not enough for salvation. They were told that they must believe in Christ... Sorry I didn't explain it better... -maouse ps. and while I do believe He shed His blood for Original Sin as it were and for future man's sin, I do not believe He shed it for Jews predating Him, as they were entitled to salvation through the OT 10 Commandments... as far as individual sins are concerned.
