Aus and all,
<<Make sure there is a SanDisk product on your holiday gift list.>>
Well, today's drop is probably related to the story in today's NYT that MP3 players won't be abundant this Christmas. Clear standards aren't yet ready, Sony won't be ready (not, of course, that that matters to Sandisk), and it won't be the knockout holiday season that many were expecting. This, however, isn't really bad for Sandisk, I think, as the current shortages in flash memory most likely mean that they will still sell as many as they can produce for good money. We may see another few days of this, but we could be coming to another buying opportunity, I think. When news of robust sales of digital cameras and advanced cell phones with MMC in them gets broadcast, these same sellers will be back as buyers. IMHO, obviously.

If you give products containing CF or MMC, you can be sure you'll get a note saying thanks for the memories.
