1. You would be talking about a monumental cash outlay, with no cash return. That would mean borrowing about $40 - $50BB (minimum). The return would be based entirely on selling the stock at a future date.

2.You don't need to own a stake to get contractual agreements.

John, you left out what new blood into IBM could do for IBM management.

Change the way they think and IBM could really take off.
