Seppo--the interesting thing from your chart is that today the number of net declines on the NYSE was almost as bad as it was at the 10,000ish low a month ago! Which brings to mind--we never did have a positive divergence test at the bottom as the breadth that day and net new lows were the worst for the down move. Usually, the averages make a lower low but with fewer net declines and better daily breadth...Maybe we have another swing at this coming? Can you just imagine the concern that would set in it the DJIA fails in here and then takes out 9975? ("hey it's not supposed to fail, let alone take out an earlier low"). Why all the overstuffed dippers in the elevator would be shocked.
