It has a 7.4 something, already doesn't it? Or it did when I bought it- or YHOO said it did- which was good enough for me. I mean I can't blame the stock for going up since I bought it and making the ratio a little less impressive. Or I could blame it but I'm not going to- especially since I have leaps and thus don't even really give a sh&t about the dividend except as an indicator of value (oops. I said a bad word...value).

Another story to share with all. Check out LSON, a POS.

quote.yahoo.com

About a bit over a year ago, when LSON was trading in the 50s, I read their 10Q's and 10K's and convinced myself that it was an empty shell. At that time, it showed "consistent" earning growth, while it was buying companies left and right with leveraged credit lines. Lots of debts. No shareholders equity whatsoever. I started buying puts here and there. After 3 months, I gave up with small losses. Of course the myth usually becomes reality after I give up and the rest is history.

I just wonder how many of the publicly traded companies are playing these games and will leave the shareholders with only a piece of paper. New era indeed. -ng-
