Robert, contemplate the outcome if AOL were rising 5% every day. EVERY day. Now imagine if every 401k plan were buying shares of AOL because of this.

Do you see the problem? Every american would be forced to buy AOL, because if they didn't then they would be the only person on their block to be worth less than a million dollars within a year.

Do you still argue that there is no inflation?

If the nasdaq continues to increase 1% every day can ANYONE say with a straight face that there is no inflation? Inflation is NOT defined by the increase in prices of a loaf of bread, no matter how hard wall street tries to assuage investors that a stock is undervalued at a PE of 50,000:1.
