Yes, the parts shortage and rising prices do not help dell's model.

On the other hand they are a pretty solid company, imho.

I suspect Cumines will be plentifull by 12/15.

This gives Dell 1/2 a quarter to make hay with cumines.

And i don't believe in the y2K doom scenario and that should be positive for Dell.

In addition I am hearing that supply is loosening up for dram/lcds due to their samsung deal and that should help their biz as well.

I am certainly expecting a run up to $50 at least prior to feb earnings after AMD and Intc have blow out quarters as well.

Just my 0.02.
