With the IPO market being as it is do you feel that RSL is a better way to play DDDC, plus you have the chance of a takeover?

RSL has been mentioned as a takeover target earlier, yes.

In any case, I prefer to buy the IPOed stock directly if I want to participate in the IPO buzz.

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 1999--RSL Communications,
Ltd. (NASDAQ: RSLC.O) today announced that Michael A. Marino was named
as President and Chief Executive Officer of RSL COM U.S.A., the
company's U.S.-based subsidiary.
Mr. Marino will be responsible for directing and coordinating the
operations of RSL COM U.S.A.'s three major subsidiaries: RSL COM
Westinghouse Business Services, based in Pittsburgh, which provides
total voice and data solutions to small and medium businesses; RSL COM
wholesale carrier services, based in Atlanta; and RSL COM PrimeCall
prepaid calling card services, based in New York City. Mr. Marino will
report to Donald R. Shassian, Chief Operating Officer for RSL
Communications, Ltd.
In naming Mr. Marino to his new position, Mr. Shassian said,

face in his new position. His strong knowledge of the industry and
expertise in successfully restructuring a variety of
telecommunications operations to profitably grow sales while also
focusing on excellent customer service will enable RSL COM U.S.A. to

of the communications industry will be invaluable in leading this
operation to it next level of growth."
Since 1996, Mr. Marino was President of Carolina Coupon Clearing,
Inc. and Carolina Manufacturer's Service, Inc., a leading financial
clearinghouse which he helped turn profitable. From 1987 until 1996,
Mr. Marino was with Nynex as Executive Vice President for Sales and
Operations, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of
NYNEX Mobile Communications and as Group Vice President of NYNEX,
among other executive positions. Earlier he held various management
positions with New York Telephone.
