It's funny, but it affected me the same way, E. I got all hot and sick when I read it. LIke being slapped suddenly when you felt good about doing something and were trying hard to do it nicely. To be told you were BAD. I had the same reaction when bp told me just now that I had been rude to her and I didn't even know it. It added significantly to my negative feelings about this whole day at SI. I'll put the site on my profile, if I can figure it out. Actually , for one brief moment, I was ready to go post it repeatedly on their stupid thread. UNtil they terminated my membership. A sort of SI harikari.

Oh heck- a lot of people bookmarked it and YOU did that. YOU did your best- feel good about that. The only person who should be feeling bad is the Ahole who turned you in for spamming. Damn if some people don't do their best to reverse-evolve in one life time.

You feel sad from the realization that you share membership in a species with real slime. It's sort of like what happens to a small child when she has to be told that the Nazis were human beings. Or that we all suffer death. It takes much of the fun out of life.

E, I want to take this post as an opportunity to say that I believe SI Bob is missing the big flick! Silicon Investors was BUILT by the people who participate in it. I recently started a thread about ways to make and save money on the web and SI Bob deleted the whole damn thread! And never said a word to me about it!! Excuse me, what in the hell is spreading some stock tips around about? Duh, making money maybe?? SI Bob, by his actions, acts as if supporting causes by sending out a few links, and sharing ways to make all of us wealthier is a crime or something. Jill never would have stopped people from posting a few links around SI. The controlling corporate aspect of these threads is really getting to be too much for me. It appears, SI Bob, hasn't a clue what SI looked like nearly 4 years ago, or how much this site has benefited by the members sharing information. OF WHATEVER NATURE! Sorry for the rant DAR faithful. But now I can go off to work feeling better.. Michael
