<<How is it possible for the Nasdaq 100 index to go up 0.69% and then on the same day have QQQ close down 1.36%?>>

What symbol represents the "Nasdaq 100" and where do you find it? I have wondered how the qqq matches the Nasdaq 100 but I could never find it.

it depends on where you get your QQQ quotes from.
the real closing price should be in the neighborhood of 152.5, which is inline w/ the NDX close.
there were some (probable) bad (late) trades on T&S at 149.5 and 155.
