I'll bite. Interoperability. The exact same thing lacking in the UNIX world due to the absence of one strong unifying vendor.

Answering that one was how I got chewed up on this thread in the first place. I think I'll kick back and see if anyone else shows up who is pro-MSFT. Otherwise, I'll need to buy an asbestos browser.

On 11/22 -- when I wrote my response -- MSFT was at $89.8125. It closed Friday at $117.4375 ... up ~30.7% in 31 days.

The tough call is whether it is better to be "right" or better to be wealthy enough to bring about change. I leave that discussion to those here who know more than I.
