Mohan: i couldnt quite tell from the article. Do you think "Cebein " is owned by IPEC or totally independant.

If IPEC owns it, then obviously IPEC wud be a good investment for the future. If totally independant then Chitre will a good investment but I dont know how to invest in him <vbg>

Satyam, Bharti BT plan Nasdaq listing

23-11-1999 09:06:48

Following the success of Satyam Infoway, Satyam Computer Services is planning to float its own ADR on the Nasdaq, sometime early next year. The company`s chairman Ramalinga Raju has said that Satyam Infoway, like most other Internet start ups is making a loss but Satyam Computer is a highly profitable company and will go to the Nasdaq in the coming year.

While Satyam`s story takes uncharted course another private ISP Bharti BT Internet is also planning something on similar lines. Though a firm decision has not been taken this direction, the CEO of the company Arjun was quoted saying that this is a very good time for floating an internet stock. Refering to Satyam Infoway, he said the success has been `encouraging`.
