Bob,...I am writing a formal note to the Company with some comments and a preliminary draft of a note to Jeb Bush. I am not sending anything to Jeb until the Appeals Court returns their final version of their ruling with clarification of some details that both sides wanted. The best outcome for CCO would be if the Appeals Court can declare the State's actions (denying the drilling permit) as being a "taking" under the standard condemnation procedure.

Any financial settlement prior to some sort of appraisal would be somewhat suspect at this point. Especially if it were a lowball cash buyout at anything under a billion dollars. It is hard to discuss money without an appraisal in my opinion. What can an appraisal cost anyway? Maybe we ought to begin negotiating from our side at the $100 Billion that was quoted in the Panama City News Herald (So they were quoting Me <G>).

We've waited this long, so what's a few more months here.
