Those crash indexes are crapola. If you follow those, you'll go from fully invested to all cash several times each year, and we all know how successful that approach has been compared to buy and hold over the past several decades. Find some stocks in the areas where the real growth is. Diversify. Add on short-term corrections. Pick up a few IPOS in Internet, broadband, wireless, etc. Retire rich. Or, listen to the bears and sit scared until another 5 years goes by, get mad, feel cheated, develop severe jealousy, retire poor. I remain, SOROS
