I just thought of something ..

may or may not work ..

Yesterday the market was weakening. As it did so the AD lint took a nasty hit. In other words, folks were getting ready for the market to pull back. As they did so cash flowed from smaller stocks to the more liquid larger ones. Net result is that the major indexes went up while cash was being pulled out.

Under such conditions, I wonder if a play could be done something like sell a SPX call and a OEX put. Then reverse as conditions reverse. Perhaps close out one after the market direction clairifies itself. Anyway the idea would be to play the two against each other. The prem in these two are so huge ..

Bernie:

I know it's not my story, and I never claimed it to be, but I could at least be mentioned for telling the "Can-o-Coke-trader" legend.

Truly yours

RE:Now, does it scare anyone else that GZ went short today? A:Yep!!

You said this would be an interesting week, well I have to congratulate you on your call. When I looked at OEX leaning on my trend line today, I was musing over the possibility of it breaking tomorrow or Friday. What a set up, light volume etc.

Into CSC near the close at 61 1/4. When I look at the pennant it broke, it projects to 60 1/4, so perhaps I should have waited another day. Oh well, I will check hind sight tomorrow and see if my A-- is still behind me. gg
