NTOP might see a big pop tomorrow with the below news released late in the day. With only 5 million shares in the float and over 2 million short we might get a huge squeeze. I think it could be fun for the longs. We'll know tomrrow. Here's the news:

DULLES, Va. (CBS.MW) -- America Online is pushing deeper into online telephone calls in a deal with Net2Phone.

The world's largest Internet service (AOL: news, msgs) will offer its roughly 20 million members the ability to use its Instant Messaging service to click and then talk to each other over phones and PCs.

Net2Phone (NTOP: news, msgs) will also co-brand a prepaid phone-to-phone calling card with the AOL messaging service, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Users of AOL's Instant Messaging will be able to make PC-to-phone and phone-to-PC calls, plus use Net2Phone's PC-to-fax and conference-call services.

"It's a natural iteration of their model -- moving from text-based to audio communications," said Rob Martin of Friedman Billings Ramsey. "As bandwidth increases, you'll have the opportunity to contact users through multiple channels. It's creating a seamless communications mechanism."

Jane, Kathy, and Russ,
Thank you all for setting me straight about the market closing at 1:00 on Friday. This will make my husband very happy. There are several movies we have been wanting to see and being "off" on Friday early sounds delightful.
Thanks all!

Ciao,
Jo
