<Maybe weasel is a compliment? Maybe we should all be weasels. Maybe weasels have been much maligned? What do we know about real weasels anyway?>

Actually, weasels are rather nice creatures... quite beautiful in fact. A weasel in winter fur is an "ermine"... which are extremely regal with their snow-white coats and black tipped tails. They are magnificently powerful little creatures, and courageous protectors of their young. We once had a weasel in our basement... an ermine-coated one... it came in through an opening in the wall where we had just removed a woodstove pipe. It was a fabulous little creature. It came in and stood on a wood sill, surveyed the scene and studied us for a few moments and then departed...

I would consider it an honor to be called a weasel... almost as much of an honor as being called a crocodile....;-}>
