Attention NetZero users: Is there anyway to get the banner ad to the top of the screen with the browser underneath it? I am able to do that with AltaVista, but don't know if there's a way to do that with N.Z. If there isn't, I guess it's arrevadercci to N.Z. Guess I'd be spending half my time on line moving the banner ad around so it isn't in the way. One would think that there's a way to keep it out of the way....

Shut down your computer with one click instead of four. This is a tip that I re-discovered this morning which I find convenient.
Make a Shut Down shortcut. Right-click the desktop and select New, Shortcut. In the Command Line text box, type

rundll.exe user.exe,exitwindows

Click Next, name the shortcut something appropriate, such as Shut Down, then click Finish. When you're ready to shut down, just click your new shortcut (or double-click it, as the case may be). You may also want to find a new icon other then what you will initially come up with.

if anyone is interested in a cpu/mem upgrade on a pci card, check this out

www1.pcworld.com

"If you're considering the AcceleraPCI, download and
run the handy prequalifying software utility from
Evergreen's Web site; it'll tell you in minutes whether
the card will work in your PC."
