Neither the Internet stocks (certainly at the start of their run a few years ago) nor the genomic stocks will make big money for years. HGSI is further along than the other "clinical" genomic companies and still will have 2 or 3 years to go until their first drugs come to market. Still, the concept of genomically derived drugs is at least as compelling as the Internet-related businesses and so the HGSI share price may continue to run without any hope of earnings for years.>

Maybe so. Still, little pieces such as the one that was broadcast last evening on the CBS Evening News, shed light to the masses on the potential (albeit long-term) of the entire sector. I'm curious if there will be any further bounce following that segment.
