I understand that you believe that religion is "merely incidental" to the present conflicts in Ireland. It is my further understanding that you, yourself, are of Irish heritage, and Roman Catholic. I have a number of friends who are of Irish heritage, and Roman Catholic, who do not agree with your assessment. As I have also mentioned, my husband's father's family is Scots-Irish, and Protestant. My husband does not agree with you, either. Not being Irish, myself, I don't care to engage in this particular battle.
