Thanks for taking the time Hatim. We were starting to worry.

All the best in your endeavours (now that's a self serving statement if I ever made one -- lol).

Seriously, thank you for the experience so far. Profits aside (can't believe I said that) it's been great to be involved from the ground floor (of course it's an investor's viewpoint of the beginning not an inventor's).

Take care and have a great holiday season
Harry

Hatim -

Given the nature of the problem, we all understand your reluctance to speak. These events will take their course, and will only be needlessly confused by addressing these complex issues here, or on some other investor forum.

I'm quite content, as an investor, to assume your absence is caused by "takin' care of business".

I, for one, was not trying to draw you out; while I can't speak for Sans, I think we were both legitimately expressing the view that your ability to speak publicly was being curtailed by events.

As for the patent arguments, again I use Mardy's wonderful quote:
"I know just enough to be dangerous". And of course, as investors in Wi-LAN, we speak publicly of these wireless matters, not because we really understand, but because we're trying to understand, and to educate each other. We have a proprietary interest, but only the foolish would expect you to potentially prejudice your position - and our position, as stockholders - with public debates on esoteric subjects that have financial consequences for Wi-LAN.

I think the gist of Sans' great post was that we understand your silence, and we agree on its necessity.

And we await your return to this board when the dust has settled on some of these events.

Give 'em hell, Hatim.

Best regards, Jim

Welcome Back Hatim, SS and Jim's posts are "two very tough
acts to follow" so I'll just add .....
I'm relieved to see that you're still willing and able to
post occasionally. I hope that you'll be able to correct
obvious errors in our assumptions and semi-technical evaluations, and to give us a "heads up" when information is released.
You have spoiled us, you know.
BTW, you may have set a precedence - with your being the "first CEO" on these "chat" boards.
But I believe that I'm probably the very first Yank to
harass a Canadian CEO for a hat !
Thank you for a job well done.
Best wishes,
Mardy.

Hatim, may I urge you, humbly, one more time to contact Robin Saxby, CEO of Arm Holdings PLC, in Cambridge, England.

arm.com

Arm's stock price (LSE: ARM. NASDAQ: ARMHY) has risen more than tenfold in the past 12 months. Their business model is based on licensing their proprietary technology to anyone and everyone. The list of their licensees is spectacular and includes virtually every significant company in the world that requires one or more low power, high performance microprocessor cores. They maintain a neutral position with regard to players and are fast becoming the world standard in this niche. (Philips is one of these).

Best regards - Bernard Super
