Corel Linux 1.0 is praiseworthy but flawed ...The bottom line, for now, is that I like Corel Linux very much despite its many little flaws. Corel has advanced the usability of Linux in many significant ways. And Corel deserves a standing ovation for the work it has done toward making Linux a simple, popular desktop operating system... cnn.com

Corel Launches Linux for the Layperson ..Later this year, Corel will come out with two boxed versions: a $49.95 standard version and a deluxe version for $79.95. Unlike the free download from Corel's site, the boxed versions give you other utilities such as technical support, documentation, and 30-day e-mail support. The deluxe version adds phone support. Corel plans to launch Office Linux--which contains Corel Linux, Quattro Pro, WordPerfect, and other applications--next spring. pcworld.com
