That was a thought that I had. Somebody knows something. But (and I'm no SEC regulation expert) that kind of volume on pending news would seem to be illegal to me.

I found on thomsoninvest.net that at 2:30 yesterday afternoon institutional interest jumped up huge and from that point on the stock rose.

Nasdaq showed after hours trading. Several trades at $12 and up, one block (either 17000 or 17500) at $12. A few other blocks of a few hundred at $13.

Still if institutions are trading on information that's not yet public it doesn't seem quite kosher to me.
