I'm no expert in corporate finance, but this sounds like a very good deal to me. An interest rate of 6.5% is well under bank prime, well under corporat AAA bonds, and not that far north of the rate the U.S. government pays for 5-year money:

Of course, the government is not as well run as CKFR.

And -- I like the conversion price. If it goes that high I would not mind a little dilution.
