Sunny, with Earthlink, I have found a local number for an Earthlink POP everywhere I have been. Earthlink also has, for an extra $5/mo, an 800 number that can be used.

Here is a page to find local numbers for Earthlink POPs:

help.earthlink.net

Seems a whole lot easier and cheeper than opening up new accounts.

Sunny,
Netzero is free anywhere in the USA. Simple download in a few minutes and you are good to go. You have an ad banner on screen all the time and you have to look at an ad about every 20 minutes or get disconnected but its worth it. More access numbers than many nationwide providers. Free internet access is here. I used to sign up for ISP when I traveled but Netzero is so easy and simple and free.

Sunny...my man, use Yahoo Mail (or almost any good web based mail service from your favorite portal) and they have this neat feature where you can check your secondary mail, POP mail, etc, and have that mail downloaded to your Yahoo account...FREE....where ever you are with no LD calls...just through the web dude!!

Works great...used it many times!!
