Dan, I don't think online brokers will make another big move up for a while. . .keep your eye on the financials in general for your clue. . .especially the large brokers. . . OLBs often follow them. . . and nearly always move as a sector, unless there is an upgrade or earnings. [Couldn't post directly to you for some reason]

Pays to be in value plays on profit-taking days like this. Nothing in my portfolio but CMGI down over 2%. Some of them up which is a good sign: ANF, LE, APLX, VUSA. Basically when you're down there's nowhere much lower to go.
Some some IBM on the open just to make sure I have cash. Keeping core position. But caught it on the uptick for a 17 point gain in one week. Not bad.

Friday anything can happen. Remember last year?
