SDLI only holds 15% of market share. So there is no reason for SEC to block the deal between JDSU and SDLI. NT, OAK, LU, HP and others all make laser source. SDLI is just an independent source. SDLI buys ETEK? I don't think so. ETEK would buy SDLI, that is more logical. But JDSU will not let ETEK to buy SDLI. There would be a bidding war if this took place. SDLI would be brought by JDSU, I think.
