It seemed to be a fact based article. Anything not true in it?

john,
saw the story.
CNBC didn't take kindly to that...they chatted about that and about Barron's piece on uncle Lou. Mark Haines, Joe, and the Bond Babe were all a bit miffed about it....i thought the story was fair at best and late at that...daytrading is almost passe now..-ng-

apparently the NY times is wrongly under-estimating the importance of Tout TV to American culture....this is now a stock market-centric society, and nothing could be more important to it than the sharp blow-by-blow financial reporting by CNBS. i mean can anybody imagine the NYSE to open without the semi-hysterical assertions by Maria that there's 'stock to buy in SIZE' ?
soon the transformation to a leisure-based full-time trading society will be achieved....and CNBC is it's heart and soul....
