A Good Introduction to VoIP from TI (a market beloved by BWSI investors):

MODULE 1 explains the anatomy of an Internet phone call and
describes what actually happens when voice travels over a packet
network. It further identifies problems inherent with Internet
telephony and explains how these problems can be addressed.

MODULE 2 is designed to introduce the basics of traditional
telephony and highlight the roles of gateways and remote access
servers in the transmission and reception of voice, fax, and
modem data. Participants will be able to identify the roles of
gateways and remote access servers and explain the benefits of a
universal port solution that integrates voice, fax and data
modem capabilities.

MODULE 3 outlines and identifies the challenges involved in
implementing a Voice Over Internet Protocol solution, and
explains the types of features that should be included.

MODULE 4 reviews the major development areas for VoIP products
and details six key application areas.

Hey Larry,

This Blue Wave investment has turned more interesting! The new Yahoo posters are pretty funny. But as quickly as they arrived, my guess is that they will soon be gone. These guys are all a breed, a breed that has only survived due to the most incredible market ever. But their day is surely numbered. I wonder how many of these guys took huge hits playing Aerial these past few days?

Blue Wave has always been a kind of a, I don't know when, I don't know why and I don't know how investment. The fundamentals have been so poor for so long the only way one could hang around was with a hope and a prayer.

But I do think the company is turning itself around. That one poster on Yahoo (avg_de_suffering ??) seems to know his stuff and is very bullish on the company. I think in the long run this investment will turn out VERY WELL!

But in the short term the stock got WAY WAY ahead of itself. Volume is not a very good indication of REAL interest in the company. Check the volume on Friday for Aerial, nine million shares of yo-yo traders playing the greater fool game! I too sold most of my IRA holdings at $7 (40% of my total holdings). This was stock I bought two years ago at around $6.50. The plan was to sell off my high cost shares, let the stock settle back into the $5 area and then repurchase the shares. So far the plan is working A okay! If successful I will lower my cost basis $1.50 and pocket a $2 profit. Now lets see if the market acts as we both hope.

Bottom line Larry is I like the long term potential in the stock and hope to be able to play the short term crazy run up we have just seen. I think we are both thinking the same here.

Best of luck ....

Chris ..
