John:
I always buy further out options. i have had fantastic success on options by doing that.
I already have 30 contracts of the Jan 10s that i bought early this year @ 1 13/16,, they are now in the 7s. I'd sell them , but I plan on buying the shares.
I have 20 contracts of the jan 2001s 7.5s which i paid 4 bucks for and which are in the $10s. I may buy them too... But I may need them to pay taxes with next year.
Soooo, I am trying to buy some lower price stuff to trade with and am looking at the Jan 2001 20s. Ask is 4 Bid is 3 5/8 . Any move from PAIRs current price back to the 17s 18s alone will return a nice profit. I am not looking to hold these long term,, I already have enough of that . i am just looking for somehting to do to keep it interesting while I wait
