RESEARCH ALERT - Lehman on AT&T wireless tracker

NEW YORK, Nov. 23 (Reuters) - Lehman Bros. said on Tuesday that AT&T Corp. (NYSE:T - news) appears set to create a
tracking stock for its wireless unit.

-- said wireless as a separate entity would be a formidable completitor with a national network, strong brand name, rising average
revenue per user, improving profitability and a 40-percent-plus revenue growth run rate.

-- said new entity could command $75 billion to $80 billion enterprise value or about $20 a share.

-- said the Baby Bell local phone companies and other large telecommunications companies may follow AT&T's expected move and issue wireless tracking stocks.
These stocks could provide stock incentives for key personnel and isolate dilutive investments required to build the businesses
