Hi Mani:

Obviously this augurs well for 99Q4 Athlon sales. It wouldn't surprise me if AMD sells every Athlon it can produce in Q4. Seems that !.3 million Athlons at $300 may not be "outside the park".

Mani - RE: "IBM website has changed significantly, they have added many new listing. AMD Athlon and K62 really dominate. Check out these links, pretty impressive, no?"

Hmm, Ispirati. I haven't read anything about this new IBM model, has anyone else?

How did you get to these links? I went to their home PC section and didn't find anything them. Then I went to their Canada and I found the Ispirati link - pc.ibm.com

The Ispirati is neat. It is a K6-2 in an "ultra slim" desktop. No Celerons available. I haven't see the Ispirati at the US website.

Mani,

I like what I see but I should admit that I am getting a little nonchalant about the consumer side and looking forward to developments on the business side.

Mani, What a sea of IBM products. Seems to have as many or more AMD parts as Intel parts. I did not take the time to do a detailed count. Let at night, when the web is faster I may do that.
This will propel AMD upwards.
