The garbage men are great. But for a TRULY inspiring subject for a paean, consider your drainage. In our case, septic tank and drainfield. Maybe in yours, sewage pipes. In either case, I think I am more grateful for that system than even the garbage persons. If one or the other were to cease functioning for a month, I know which one I would choose.

The garbage men are wonderful people. They are so cheerful when I run out in my nightgown screaming, "Wait! Wait!" becuase not one of the giant muscular Westbrook male specimens has bothered to take the garbage out. They sometimes even walk up the driveway and take it from me.
I wonder if they are very neat and clean at home.
Should I put them on my list of Men I Want to Marry in my Next Life?
