Many on this Board have given up on ERICY. That Company has put out many releases with tinges of conflicting statements.

It is evident that the Company is merely posturing hoping to keep NN's current valuation as low as possible prior to its offer.

I would not dismiss ERICY from the bidding.

Doug, Re: " When will an offer for NN be made? ". I will say
it again:
Nobody can determine that with any certainty.
It has nothing to do with anything, pre earnings, post
earnings, the stockmarket, whatever.

If there are 5 companies bidding, A,B,,C,D,E, AND
company A decides to make a bid ( because their stock is
already high, or they have the cash or financing or
whatever ) then if company B also wants NN, company B has
to make an offer
at that time, even though that may not
be the best time for them
, or they will loose NN,

Tunica: Is that a NN acquired construct that means "I have no idea".

The Buyer will be timing his purchase with a high in his stock. The likely dates are usually pre-earnings if earnings are not that stellar or post Earnings if
earnings are good.

This pushes the dates to January which is too far out to prevent any downside on NN.
