Jim - RE: "Intels Solano, 133 MHZ bus chipset will likely be a BIG nail in RAMBUSTS coffin..." So Intel will offer the Solano chipset for desktops and they are working on a DDR SDRAM server chipset. The only place left for RamBUST DRDRAM is workstations with the i840 chipset. So Intel invested 500M in Micron, 100M in Samsung, and who knows how many M developing DRDRAM chipsets just for the workstation market? Isn't Intel focusing on servers nowadays? Something isn't clicking. And the Athlon makes a better workstation for heavy FPU intensive applications...
