Hi guys,

I have a new job.... Yeay Yeay !!..

D00d! Congratulations, eh?

So both will win, and you should have both really, once the bull!@#$ of the trial is over..

Well, I think that may be a little generous to MSFT. The thing is that once the bull!@#$ of the trial is over.. the lid will likely be off of the Windows code and M$ will have nothing to leverage in that department. I think the bottom line is that we're basically moving from a software to a hardware based paradigm. M$ doesn't make any hardware except for that mouse. With OS/software costs plummeting, M$ is going to need to sell an awful lot of mice.

This position I got, thank God, is pretty senior, and I have seen everything in the works. I am flabbergasted at thr breath of the SUn vision, thin-client, N-tier, web-centric & ERP computing that will transform this organisation.

On the other hand, you were the last unemployed CSE in North America.<g> Now, get to work and stop posting here! :)

Congratulations again, Jean.

Dear Jean: CONGRATULATIONS, your post indicates your excitement and hopefully you are in a position now to keep us informed as to how SUNW is doing on the FIRING LINE where the rubber meets the road!!
Incidentally, if you are working really close with Andersen Consulting expect to work harder than you ever had before. We used to call Arthur Andersen the Marine Corp of the Public accounting profession and I presume the consulting is no different. An ex Andersen partner. JDN
