Hi Cirruslvr:

I accepted that statement when it was made but that was then. Much has changed since then. IBM is currently selling 650's and 700's. 750's to be released by November month end? I'm beginning to think that the weighting of 650's, 700's and 750's may be enough to raise Athlon ASP to the $300 level. I'm also beginning to think that demand for Athlon's may cross over the supply curve in 99Q4, once again, improving Athlon ASPs

Intel News Network reporting (admitting) nobody wants the Xeon.

"Similarly, Dell Computer, which historically has adopted most Intel microprocessors, will not be incorporating recently released 733-MHz, 667-MHz and 600-MHz Xeon Pentium IIIs into its workstation line, a Dell spokesperson said. Dell and HP are the top two PC workstation manufacturers."

Somebody better go talk to Mickey D.!

Make it so,
