Hi Doug,

rundll.exe user.exe,exitwindowsexec

These are cool tips you've been posting on how to shut down or restart the computer. I think there was another one a while ago (which I lost) about launching the applet for display properties, i.e. wallpaper, resolution, etc. I'd like to find a source for this type of shorthand, or calls, or whatever they are. Is there such a thing, other than a degree in software engineering?

I would also like to find a source for the switches etc. for Windows(95) Explorer. I tried typing Explorer.exe in a dos window but the help data didn't come up. The books at Barnes & Noble didn't seem to have what I want.

I'd like to try these in my macro program to make it more robust. My guess is that it will work more reliably if there was one less level of stuff to go through.
