At least they got a better price for it then the Brits. Sell at the bottom- ye haw. Wonder why they didn't buy back in when it was $ 250 - better return then foregin currencies.

Makes you wonder if Canada is responsible for its own problems - selling northern pesos to get Yankeee greenbacks.

Oh well.

Cheers

<<I have been wondering why the rest of the world keeps accepting US debt. I am still waiting for the $ 0.85 canadian dollar.>>

When it's backed by so little gold?

Excuse me. But with your limit TA abilities, and this threads oxymoronic attitude towards understanding. Why would any gold neophyte believe that CDN currency is linked to their gold holdings? In deed, it is the lead time between the CDN currency and any rise in GOLD that is tantamount to knowing where golds' future shall lie. But when once you believe in conspiracies and lies propagated by GATA and Butler; which I might add are both wrong; then your basis for reality is flawed. In which case. YOU be wrong.

So with that said... Why would you believe the POG should rise. And in deed, your fundamental mis-understanding {and this is direct to 90% of this threads, and less so to you} how can you assertain the value of gold being hirer. Without a true understanding of the balance sheets from the producers, you are nothing more then a speculator, or day trader. The POG and the Gold index's ARE not pointing to higher gold, but lower. Many of you fail to remember that Future expire at the End of the month. And Every month their is a small rally in the POG. And yes, one large rally. But rest assured, GOLD is grossly over valued.

Why does the world keep accepting the US DEBT?
Obvious:
1) Over the coming years it will be shrinking and less debt will be sold
2) A rising US Dollar and Falling Yields makes for a VERY GOOD return on investment.
3) Europe and Japan are stilled screwed up little States...
