Rose...I respectfully disagree with you. While there are a few rants (political and otherwise), this thread has a personality that's derived from a great cross section of folks who express their opinions – some of which are colored with the posters unique personality. To take those personal comments away, is to render a very interesting thread strictly on topic, but totally void of interest, IMO. While being politically correct may be comfortable to some, I prefer comments and observations that come from the heart as well as the mind. Keep up the good work!

It wastes bandwidth, but it also allows us to understand our threadmates in a holistic sense, which in turn helps us evaluate their investment advice. Besides, it would be counterproductive to try and establish rules of order since most of our group has leadership traits and very few are followers. That's why the only rule has been aimed at promoting polite discourse. Besides, if Merlin couldn't tell the odd joke or two, he might stop putting spells on the nasdaq. uf
