EDollar -- nice call to hold onto DIGI .. I did the early flip, like I usually do...can't look back now, but good to see some folks had more patience. Everything I read suggested a relatively small (20 - 50 percent) pop for DIGI, so I was already shocked and thrilled to get out at 39. Could find noone who thought this would approach OPTV's performance today. Oh well, a partially lost opportunity, but still a good bottom line today.

Good luck.

eDollar, couldnt agree more. The last big one I got from Etrade was TSCM, but I got EBAY, VUSA, PCLN, MMPT, MPTH, MKTW, NETP, and a bunch of others. Really, before lottery, thanks to a T1 connection provided by the Florida State University Library (yes, we have more than a football team here hahaha) I was able to get almost every IPO. You are totally right about it not being a right, and really I am thankful for what Etrade provided me earlier this year. Those IPOs let me go to Spain, pay off college loans, and have a nice portfolio to boot.

Good luck to all, and remember, even though it is a lottery, at least our chances are better of winning it then any other lottery I know of!

Then I realized with such a small account getting an IPO is a privelege, not a right. If u have this mentality it can control your emotions.

I'd agree if they hadn't started off with First Come First Serve. When they went from FCFS to Lottery they took away a system in which a person could control their own destiny (or at least their chance to get an IPO) and replaced it with one where you had to beg "please, please, please!", wait for manna to drop from heaven, and you can never know why you didn't get an IPO or if you were on Double-Secret Probation so you would never get one.

I honestly believe that for some reason my account has been black-balled and it will never get another IPO. They will neither confirm nor deny, in order to ensure "the integrity of the process."

Someone who never had something may grumble, but try to take it away from someone is used to it and now expects it and they'll raise hell.

***All*** email klevinson@etrade.com Kathy Levinson COO of etrade! Tell her that this IPO allocation stinks.

I think we would have a better chance of getting an IPO if it was first come first served.

Maybe if the window was open for 1 hour for IOI & re-IOI
less of us would get into that window and the people that
want the IPO's bad enough will keep watching the site.

No matter what I have friends that have new accounts & they
have applied for 10+ IPO's and got none. This is the part
that has many mad because etrade advertises open an account
and get a chance of getting an IPO!

BTW: The email address does work!

I sent an email & left my phone # & she called when I was out at the doctor for my son. She said she wanted to talk
to me about the IPO process and an email will follow.
