Does anyone realize that Sandpiper Networks has fairly equivalent technology to AKAM and yet ISLD (which merged with Sandpiper)trade at a Market Cap of 1.8 Billion while AKAM trades at 20 Billion. The reason for this post is that I know someone at Sandpiper and he said " business is booming..". I recently put a ratio spread between AKAM and ISLD. Short AKAM Long ISLD, on the basis that the growth opportunity in ISLD is much greater than AKAM at this stage. This is also discounting the fact that ISLD offers e-business outsourcing solutions and therefore a whole separate revenue stream. Any thoughts?
