Earlie, i'm not so sure whether the Asian mend is overstated or not...though i do believe that Japan's decision to muddle through all these years instead of letting creative destruction do it's thing was wrong, it seems to me that several Asian nations seem to be going quite strong right now, S.Korea for instance. i also think that Japan ultimately has great potential. i guess the litmus test for Asia will come when the Wall Street bubble finally collapses...then the wheat will be separated from the chaff. hb
