Hi Bill; It takes a little mantance but not all that much, I haven't
adjusted it since July 27th, But being you asked I did adjust the
DVI for the S&P 500 and brought it up to 24 stocks.
Ironicly if you look at it you'll see it looks very overweight
in tech , but that's what's trading the dollars, and dollars move
the index.
I did a new twist on picking the stocks for this , I used volume
X price , then divided that by market cap and sorted the results
I haven't tested this one but it makes sence to divide the market
cap into the dollars traded as a lower market cap means the
stock will move more on the same amount of dollars traded.
-----------------
Any way this is what is what has the most $ trading "interest"
in the S&P

BTW more and more of these are trading after the index stops adusting
and this is ging to cause more GAPs in the index in the future,
The SPY and QQQ are going to be affected.
AOL went up more after the bell, and some of the losers came off
their closing price. Unless Futures dive this will make for a
UP jump on the index on the open. ( More hype to put up with )

I expect more down side, but so far it's still just profit taking.
