Although WV is not strictly an ASP (Application Service Provider), it seems this will be a big part of their biz according to what I understand.
Wall Street has recognized this huge growth market, according to articles I have read.

Gartner Group Research estimates the ASP market will grow to $22.7 billion by 2003.

As well as it being very expensive for smaller companies to maintain their own IT departments, there is a shortage of IT workers.

This is resulting in many companies outsourcing some or all of their IT applications to companies like Wavve.
