Well, almost! I have had decent gains till Oct 20 or thereabouts. Since that time I had been looking for a pullback to close some of my puts. You can guess what happened. -ng- Since I still have faint hopes left for my Jan puts, it is very likely that we will not see much of a pull-back till Jan perspiration. The power of the mania is helped by old man's viagara cure - pumping more and more liquidity in to the system.

I have another theory - though a 'wishful thinking,' - sort of! The old man might have given a nod to the banks to unload their risky derivatives in to a parabolic rise in markets aided by 24% annualized growth in money supply concurrent with his latest rise. I think he did that to avoid blame for engineering a crash by rising rates. Now, a full week after setting new a few new highs following his latest interest rate hike, he can stop the monetary spigots and should a steep decline ensue, he can say it was the works of the market mechanism. He is more slick than, well, Slick himself - you know!
